About SUMMER ISLAND MALDIVES
The Summer Island Maldives is located in the tranquil North Male’ Atoll, and is 35 km from the Airport, which is a 45 minute speedboat ride away or a 15 minute Sea plane ride. The resort is located on Ziyaaraiyfushi island, which has a profusion of tropical vegetation and is surrounded by white sandy beaches and a vast lagoon. The large crystal clear lagoon is excellent for swimming, surfing, catamaran sailing, snorkeling, diving and other water sports. Summer Island Maldives has been recently refurbished with a renewed and elegant decor. The resort has 20 Water Villas, 16 Premium Beach Villas, 30 Superior Vista and 30 Superior Beach, 52 Superior Bungalows and 7 Garden Rooms and The Summer House (a two storey beach suite).
All rooms and villas are fresh and chic in design with bright, light décor.
All rooms and villas have cable TV with USB port, individually controlled Air Conditioning units, writing table with drawer and chair, sofa and coffee table, complimentary tea-coffee, mini-fridge, luggage rack, in-room safe with power supply to safely charge electronic devices, IDD Telephones, free Wi-Fi, and open wardrobe with drawers. All rooms except the Water Villa, have partially open air bathrooms.
The rooms and villas open out to a spacious verandah, deck or terrace depending on the type of room. This area is finished with out-door dining for two and, depending on the category, a large daybed or two sun lounges or daybed. All bathrooms have hairdryers and hot and cold water. Our soap, shampoo, hair conditioner, body lotion and shower gel are exclusively produced for Summer Island Maldives by Spa Ceylon and available in all accommodation categories.
Beach towels are provided free of charge for all rooms.
Both Villa categories have a DVD/ Blu Ray player, Espresso machine with complimentary pods and a stocked minibar. Their en suite bathrooms also feature a Jacuzzi bath tub and rain showers.

Samuga Restaurant Serves international buffet breakfast, lunch and dinner for Superior Room, Superior Vista, Superior Beach and Garden Room guests on a 14-day rotating menu.
Hiya Overwater Restaurant Serves international semi-buffet breakfast, lunch and dinner for Water Villa and Premium Beach Villa guests.
Nevi Bar Nevi Bar serves all-inclusive drinks from 09:00 to midnight. It has open-air seating, facing the seafront on the sunset side of the island. A snack menu is also available at Nevi bar offering pizzas, sandwiches, burgers, ice cream and other snacks. Afternoon tea for All-inclusive guests is served at Nevi Bar.
Avi Overwater Restaurant & Cocktail Lounge Á la carte dining with indoor and outdoor seating Menu emphasizing onregional seafood, pizzas, steaks and tapas.
The Bar opens from 11 am to midnight & serves premium brands of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, and extensive cocktail menu and signature drinks.

The Superior Beach rooms are designed with bright, tropical interiors, to renew and refresh spirits. Step straight out of your room and sink your feet into the long, inviting white sandy beach dotted with palm trees, and hidden shells waiting for your toes to dislodge them.
The rooms are spacious with double bed, sofa and coffee table, as well as its own mini-bar and wardrobe. It also has coffee and tea making facilities, LED TV with satellite channels, IDD telephone and dressing table. The large en-suite at the Superior Beach is partially open-air with a garden area to make the most of the sunlight. It comes equipped with a rain shower, toiletries and bathroom amenities.

The Superior Vista rooms created in blocks of four, with these rooms on the first floor and the Superior Beach rooms right below. The Superior Vista has a great view of the beach and the ocean, with a seating terrace ideal for spending some holiday time gazing into the infinite distance with your beloved or just by yourself with that book you promised you’d read. These rooms have more privacy than the ground floor Superior Beach rooms.
The bedrooms are drenched in light and have a double bed with sofa and coffee table, and a writing desk, with coffee and tea making facilities and a mini-bar, as well as LED TV with satellite channels, IDD telephone and dressing table. The large en-suite is partially open-air, with a rain shower, making the most of the sunlight and comes equipped with toiletries and bathroom amenities.

The Premium Beach Villas are perfect for anyone who adores the beach and its many natural bounties. Designed for the perfect barefoot experience, it has a large veranda that leads out right to the beach – available literally at your doorstep. Fabulous white sand no more than a step away.
It is also the ideal place to curl up with a good book, or just to gaze across the beach towards the clear blue, serenity of the ocean while sipping on something cold.
The bedrooms, designed to make the most of the tropical light, also come with sofa and coffee table, as well as its own desk and LED TV with satellite channels and DVD player. Each room has its own Nespresso machine and mini-bar. The large en-suite has its own jacuzzi bathtub with toiletries and bathroom amenities.

The Water Villas have been designed to emphasise harmony with nature. Each Water Villa has its own terrace with direct access to the tranquil lagoon where you can dip in and out, while your towel and book or audio book await on the sunbed.
The bedrooms are drenched in light, and are fitted with double beds, writing table and chair, and a sofa in the room, with IDD telephone and an LED TV with satellite channels. There is also a Nespresso machine and mini-bar and a glass window that gives visibility directly into the lagoon for little visitors from the depths. The Summer House is designed to be your home for the summer where your family can enjoy the utmost privacy created across two floors, with a living area, two en-suite bedrooms and two en-suite bathroom. It is designed to make the most of the natural light with large balconies fitted with daybeds, as well as a refreshing pool.
The master bedroom enjoys a glorious king-sized, four poster bed, with a large, two person bathtub in the en-suite. The second room has twin beds, and an en-suite. Both bedrooms have spacious wardrobes and mini-bar.
Equipped for your convenience, the Summer House has its own kitchenette/pantry with dining areas; both inside and a shaded one outdoors by the pool for your meals in the open.
