The Honors Residence, is a new hotel in the Gan Island, in the Laamu Atoll of the Maldives. Gan is an inhabited islands, with a multi-coloured history.
Gan island is one of most historical islands in the Maldives, as it served as a strategic outpost for the British Navy and Royal Air Force from 1941 to 1976. Much of the military infrastructure remains intact, including the runaway. It is also a diver's paradise, as there are sunken ships around this area for endless hours of diving exploration.

Unlike the all inclusive resort private islands, where guests experience just the deserted island feel within a hotel atmosphere, if one stays in an inhabited islands, such as Gan, there is more authentic experiences to take part in. For instance, you can explore the island and try out the different restaurants and cafes, see how the locals live in the Maldives, visit the historic sites, check out different spots for snorkelling, take a bicycle and explore for miles and miles.
The Honors Residence Maldives, is just 2 minutes away from the main highway in the Sinai Sarahaddhu of Mathimaradhoo area in Gan Island.
At the middle of the public area lies the 800 square feet swimming pool surrounded by a wooden deck with loungers and chairs.
The property has a spacious main restaurant for the main meals and special events as well. The main kitchen is a huge kitchen with ample space for a big team to work together with conveniently located spacious separate stores nearby. The proposed meeting and conference room can host groups of around 100 people in various styles of meetings and conferences.
